it sounds lovely
BUT…
I’ve never meditated before.
Great! This is the perfect place to begin. We’ll guide you through the basics, explaining not just how to do them but why they work, so you can adapt them to suit your needs.
I’m bad at meditation.
Well, there’s no such thing as a perfect meditation - it’s always called a practice, no matter how long you’ve been doing it. You can’t be good at meditation, so you also can’t be bad at it. The aim is to practice holding compassion and acceptance toward yourself, regardless of the experience you’re having.
I’m too stressed to meditate.
This is akin to “I’m too dirty to take a shower”… We’ll teach you how to snap out of stress mode, and provide you with a powerful toolkit of reset techniques - most of which work in under a minute - that you can apply anytime, anywhere.
I can’t keep the thoughts from coming.
Ah, this is perhaps the biggest misconception when it comes to meditation. It’s not about stopping your thoughts, they’ll always be there. It’s about developing a new relationship with them: stepping back and becoming the observer, softly paying attention without getting anxiously caught up.
I’m worried I’ll fall asleep.
If you can relax enough to fall asleep in a room full of strangers, A) you clearly need the rest, and B) it’s a sign the meditation is doing its job, switching you into a state of deep peacefulness. No stress if you snooze!
I’m just too busy.
Meditation is the rare activity that gives more time than it takes. Want more clarity, focus, creativity and motivational drive? This is the place. Learning to manage your physical and mental energy will change the way you work, forever.
